† - Effective lumens takes into consideration the amount of light in a 'field-of-view' defined as an area +/- 90o left/right, and +/- 90o up/down.
* - 50 Lux represents HSE guidelines for effective illumination when working outdoors at night.
# - All Lazer products are designed to meet the requirements of IP68 testing. Every lamp produced at our UK facility is fully submerged under water prior to sending out.
Matching form and function, the Utility-50 is a medium duty LED work light packed with performance, style, robustness, and functionality. At its core, 4x high power, premium-bin 13W LEDs deliver high levels of illumination befitting a vast array of applications and vehicles and machine types. The carefully selected 5000K colour temperature helps define the light output which is both powerful, comfortable to use over prolonged periods, and proven to optimise sharpness and definition between shapes and colours thanks to its high CRI (colour rendering index).
The Utility-50 is able to deliver more than just a high-performance work light. A version of the Utility-50 is available with integrated red tail-light function. Approved to UNECE Reg 148-R1, the red tail-light is characterised by 4 outline markers in each corner of the lamp, creating a unique and stylish appearance, over and above its safety benefits.
With its front-on dimensions shared with the Utility-80 HD, 107mm (h) x 107mm (w), this gives an indication of the lamp’s lighting competency, while the reduced depth of the lamp facilitates installation. That reduction in overall size isn’t to the detriment of performance however with the lamp carefully designed and engineered in-house, in the UK, to optimise light output considering thermal conductivity, crucial to preserving the lamps longevity and trouble-free use over many years. The strength and reliability of the Utility-50 is furthered by additional design features and build quality an upshot of our UK production, including: unbreakable polycarbonate lens with hardcoat, EMC protection - CISPR:25 (Class 3 or 5 available), automotive grade corrosion resistance a result of our in-house pre-treatment and powder coat facility, and IP68 and IP69K approval. All this backed up by our comprehensive 5-year warranty (2 years for non-automotive / industrial applications).
Depending on the model selected the Utility-50 comes supplied with male/female Deutsch connectors. The Utility-50 also comes supplied with a satin black painted stainless-steel mounting system, with either loose M10 bolts and fasteners, or fixed M10 bolt and fasteners, the latter providing for simplified installation in some instances.
